Yeah. [Her voice seems small and she shrugs.] I didn't want to ruin Jon's party with that information. Considering it's why we were arguing in the first place.
You couldn't possibly ruin a thing. If anyone ruins anything it's this city. Besides, [Tim's noses wrinkles just imagining what the two of them were fighting about. Instantly taking Sasha's side no matter the cause.] I'm sure Jon probably deserved it.
Oh, I'm sure I could ruin a lot of things given the time and space. [She sighs before huffing out a short laugh.] We were fighting about the party and your intentions behind it. I... was really tired from work, and he just kept on about it. I finally snapped at him.
[She does take several good long sips, before pulling away from the bottle. Yet with a grin, she darts in, pressing her mouth against his, tongue lapping over his as the traces of the drink linger.]
[But on a more serious note.] I can easily take care of the fine for you, but the realignment? [His mouth forms a thin line.] I've heard that place can make you crave certain things sexually. If that happens? I want you to know I'm here for you.
I don't know. Maybe he did? [She hums a note of thought.] He didn't trust me when I said I wouldn't let you have a stripper at his party. That you actually do care about him. It's... [A sigh.] It was very frustrating, and I let it get to me.
[She nods, frowning about the realignment business and wishing she were a whole lot smaller.] Thank you. I'm not sure I'd trust anyone else.
[Tim doesn't do more than set his work satchel in his room before he heads for David's end of the house. Dressed still in his business casual clothes for work he gives David a warm smile as he knocks on the door.]
[Nodding his head Tim tells himself to be a bit more serious now.] Probably a good idea. How are you feeling about the idea? I'm happy for you to stay, but if you've found someone else? Of course there are no hard feelings.
I haven't been looking but you have Sasha and... I'm sure you two would prefer your privacy.
[He might now know all that goes on but he's observant enough to see something between them and he doesn't want to be the awkward third wheel in the way.]
Besides, there are Dominants out there seeking partners. Maybe I can save someone from prison.
What about you? Would you prefer some privacy? I could probably swing getting you your own place now. [Then David could invite anyone over that he wanted to.] Regardless, you're welcome to stay with us. I want this to be your home of you want it to be.
But, I understand, wanting to help someone out? That's really noble. When our contract ends, I don't think the city will let you stay here longer than a couple days, but I think I can pay for a place for you to stay. Then if you can't find someone we can contract again? Or you can move into their place once you do.
[He takes a moment to consider the options. It was a pain to be uncontracted with the lack of permissions and extra red tape trying to get across borders but he wanted to be of more help to others. He didn't have that much issue with living with Tim and Sasha but it would also be nice to be on his own again. It's something he was more used to and preferred.]
How about this... I'll ask through the public network if there are any Dominants in need of a contract partner with any looming deadlines. If I have no response or nobody suitable to contract with then we can renew and... yeah, I wouldn't mind having a place of my own. It doesn't have to be anything fancy though.
Sounds like a plan. We can start looking for a place now if you want in case you wind up with me again so you can have your own place for the full three months. Or we can wait until we finalise the renewal.
Another change I was thinking we could do if you do contract with me again? No more buying limit. You don't need to clear with me first if you're going to spend more than a hundred dollars in a single transaction. Also it's not mandatory that you tell me if you're not going to be home, but I would still like it if you still did so.
[He never purchases much anyway, aside from extra coffee beans, regular coffee shop visits for lunch during work and a monthly visit to Gilia. He also rarely stays out unless he's working late at the club.]
Well, I hope whatever happens that you're happy. With me or anyone else. [He smiles warmly at David.] Was there anything else I could do for you today?
[He makes a soft noise of surprise when she kisses him. Very quickly relaxing into it and kissing her back. His hand tracing down the curves of her body as they kiss.] Mmhmm, kiss me again. I think I'm getting drunk off of them.
He really didn't trust you or me? [Tim makes no effort to hide the disappointment on his face.] I know I was teasing him at the start, but I would have thought after everything that happened with Prentiss and the worms that he could trust us at least that much. At least trust you enough when it came to something small like this.
Me. Didn't believe me because of the times you'd play a prank at the Institute, and I had let you. [She leans her head against Tim's shoulder and sighs.] It really hurt to know that he just didn't think I cared enough. Or you, either, I suppose. We both know Jon doesn't like surprises. Guess I should have talked you out of it or something.
[There's that husky laugh as her blue eyes catch his when she leans back ever so. Her finger traces along his chest, and she seems to be contemplating the idea, as if there is even anything to contemplate. Dragging a hand through his hair and giving a small tug, her mouth claims his again.]
That's not your fault! He can't blame you for my actions!
It's not like I would have let you stop me. Besides, you did try! I nearly had to grovel for his real age! In the end I didn't even tell the network his real age. [Making him younger ended up being funnier to Tim.] So he had no reason to not trust you.
