[Tim is a little surprised by the youth that he spots waiting for him. Mostly because when he was younger he had been more focused on parties and adventures then working so he's impressed by Sally's dedication to this project.] Hello! [He greets warmly. Holding out his hand for shaking.] A pleasure to meet you. Sally, right?
[Yep, it's the hot guy. Figures. But probably good for business. He can, like, be the face, or whatever. Sally stands to shake his hand, banging her knee on the table in the process and wincing, swearing.]
[The corners of Tim's mouth might curl up just the tiiiiiniest of bits when he sees her hit the table, but otherwise is a gentleman and doesn't say anything about it. Taking her hand in a polite handshake and nod of his head.] Good to meet you as well. So, did you have some more thoughts on this proposed business venture?
[Sally sits again, clearing her throat, somewhat self-consciously running a hand through her hair.]
I have content ideas, mostly. And I figure we should get some kind of office? Don't know what you think we'll need to start--you know more about the business than I do.
Content ideas would be a great start. I have a feeling that you don't need me to tell you that if we just anything and everything we could potentially end up as targets to those that run this city. We might even end up punished for publishing something from a submissive that talks poorly on how this city runs.
Is that the sort of thing you were thinking of publishing? Anything and everything? Or were you thinking of catering to something more specific?
I wanted mostly to focus on the things that we're doing. Our businesses, our lives. At least for now, you're right, I don't want to make any waves. That's something you only really get away with when you have some sort of...notoriety.
[So maybe if that happens, but who knows, really.]
I've had more than one person suggest an anonymous advice column. Even if it was a joke, I have a feeling people would like it. For the most part, I think we all know what goes on here that we hate, so...something positive would be refreshing. Some kind of reference guide to getting to know our fellow LIERs, establish a sort of...community voice?
So, you're looking at starting up something closer to a newspaper or a magizine from the sounds of it. My expertize is with a different sort of publishing, but it shouldn't be too different.
