[Opening the door for her with a warm smile he welcomes her into his home.] Thank you for coming. I know you were giving up a lot to be here. [He will lead them to the dining room where he's had their meal prepared.] You'll have to tell me if it's too your liking so I can make it even better next time.

Care for some wine? I have both white and red. Personally I think either can pair well with chicken.

Thank you for inviting me. [She beams at him as they walk to the dining room. Her eyes widen a little seeing everything he's made and she looks over at him.]

I'm certain it's delicious, it all looks absolutely fantastic. But I think white sounds lovely for the evening.

[She takes a seat and looks up at him, really studying him for a moment. He's handsome, polite and can cook. She's rather impressed by him.]

[Tim is certainly the type of man that most everyone loves. He has a charming smile and a surprising variety of skills.]

White, it shall be. [He will pour her a glass.] Now that we have drinks sorted shall I ask what your preferred subject of small talk is?

[She takes the glass with a thankful smile before taking a small sip. It is delicious.]

Well... [She pretends to think about his question.] We could always stay safe and go with normal small talk... Or, we could be daring and start with why you invited me or and why I was willing to give up my very nice bath.

[Tim can't help the wide, toothy grin that spreads across his face. He can't help but love a woman who is willing to jump to the chase.] Well, it was indeed mostly to give you an enjoyable meal, but I would not be at all disappointed if you had an interest in doing something a bit more... athletic tonight. Or perhaps we could see about taking that bath together?

[Inara just doesn't see the point in beating around the bush so to speak.]

Well I don't see why we can't do all of it. Athletics do tend to help build a healthy appetite and also tend to leave on feeling the need for a nice long soak.

[Her eyebrows raise a little suggestively because well, why not?]

You make an excellent point? Did you have a type of athletics in mind for tonight? Maybe something classic, a good favorite, but a bit vanilla or are you in the mood for something a bit more spicy? [Now he's just keeping up the innuendo because it's fun.]

[Inara leans back a little and chuckles. She's finding she really does like him. He's fun and truly, she needs some fun.]

Well... [She makes a show as though she's truly thinking over the options. She sets the glass of wine on the table and leans back a little as she watches him.] A little spice can always be rather delicious, don't you think?

I am a man who likes his spice. Just want kind of dishes do you like spice in it? I have a selection we can look over and check out in my bedroom.

Are you now?

[She grins before slowly pushing her chair back and rose to her feet.]

Perhaps you show me your selection and we'll see if our tastes are similar?

[Pushing aside his mostly empty plate Tim gets up onto his feet. Extending his elbow to walk her to his bedroom.] Now, we don't need to play with anything. I know you're basically in a stranger's home so whatever you're comfortable with. I'm pretty good either way. [Tim was very much a switch through and through.

Tim's bedroom is large with an impressive four poster king sized bed made up in dark purple satin sheets. Although he doesn't move for the bed instead moving toward a trunk on the floor. This he opens up before stepping aside so she can take a look.] This is my fun toy box. [He explains with everything inside looking neat and organized. Several different sized plugs ranging from small to quiet large. She is likely not the first woman he's entertained if the strap on, that is also in the box, is anything to judge by. Silk rope, fuzzy handcuffs, a leather pair of cuffs, and even a leash and collar. A bright red flogger along with a short black riding crop lay on top of a blindfold and ball gag. There is even an assortment of thick scented candles in the box.]
