Your friend contacted me and told me about the creature who looked like you. I'm not entirely sure what to say. I know now that it wasn't you, but it's not something that I can easily put behind me. I hope you understand.

It's alright. I understand completely. I was attacked by something similar back home and I know I've never recovered from that attack so I would have been shocked if you could simply over look what happened to you so easily. I just hope you can have a little peace knowing that the thing that actually attacked you is gone. I plan to still keep my distance as much as this city allows me to.

I'm sorry that happened to you, but I'm not saying I won't recover for it. I will not let what happened to me define how I am for the rest of my life. I merely need some time and space to process it all.
