[Food is ordered before Tim arrives, and Sasha's waiting half-patiently on the sofa for him, playing a word game on her device to keep her brain occupied. She knows that he likely would have gotten an alert or something about her citation, but probably better coming from her directly. What happened, happened, and she knows she has to be mindful of things.]

[It's not too long before Tim's key is sliding into the lock. Opening it up as he comes strolling in.] Saaaaa-shaaaaa~~~ I'm hooo-oome~~! [He sings out in true I Love Lucy style before shutting the door behind him. Walking right over to the sofa to flop down in a slightly exaggerated manner while being careful to not accidentally land on her as he falls back onto the couch. Wrapping an arm around her as he lounge back onto the couch.] How was your day?

[She laughs softly at his antics, never really surprised that he was going to make an entrance in some fashion or another. As is his way.

She leans into him.]

It was all right. All things considered. [Sasha sighs a bit, mulling around just how she's going to tell Tim about a citation that involved Jon.] How was yours?

Pretty standard really. [He moves to start taking off his shoes. Looking to really relax now that he was home.] Not bad, not great, but fine.

But you wanted to talk? Was it before or after dinner?

[She blows out a sigh and nods. Might as well get on with it.]

We can talk now. [Sasha's fingers mess with the hem of her shirt, if only because she's really uncertain of what else to do with her hands at present.] So, I'm sure you'll get a notification, but I... received a citation. For erm... being disrespectful to a Dominant. By which I mean Jon and I had an argument in public. And I... yelled at him. And it was likely one of the locals that reported it.

[She looks over at Tim, feeling a little sheepish.] Sorry.

Ah. [He sounds completely unsurprised and unconcerned.] I was wondering when you were going to tell me about it.

[Leaning into her slightly so he can reach into his pants pocket he pulls out the physical copy he had received of her citation. Holding it out so she can see it and even take it if she really wants to.] I got it the day of Jon's party. I knew you'd say something when you were ready.

Yeah. [Her voice seems small and she shrugs.] I didn't want to ruin Jon's party with that information. Considering it's why we were arguing in the first place.

You couldn't possibly ruin a thing. If anyone ruins anything it's this city. Besides, [Tim's noses wrinkles just imagining what the two of them were fighting about. Instantly taking Sasha's side no matter the cause.] I'm sure Jon probably deserved it.

Oh, I'm sure I could ruin a lot of things given the time and space. [She sighs before huffing out a short laugh.] We were fighting about the party and your intentions behind it. I... was really tired from work, and he just kept on about it. I finally snapped at him.

Like I said, I bet he deserved it.

[But on a more serious note.] I can easily take care of the fine for you, but the realignment? [His mouth forms a thin line.] I've heard that place can make you crave certain things sexually. If that happens? I want you to know I'm here for you.

I don't know. Maybe he did? [She hums a note of thought.] He didn't trust me when I said I wouldn't let you have a stripper at his party. That you actually do care about him. It's... [A sigh.] It was very frustrating, and I let it get to me.

[She nods, frowning about the realignment business and wishing she were a whole lot smaller.] Thank you. I'm not sure I'd trust anyone else.

He really didn't trust you or me? [Tim makes no effort to hide the disappointment on his face.] I know I was teasing him at the start, but I would have thought after everything that happened with Prentiss and the worms that he could trust us at least that much. At least trust you enough when it came to something small like this.

Me. Didn't believe me because of the times you'd play a prank at the Institute, and I had let you. [She leans her head against Tim's shoulder and sighs.] It really hurt to know that he just didn't think I cared enough. Or you, either, I suppose. We both know Jon doesn't like surprises. Guess I should have talked you out of it or something.

That's not your fault! He can't blame you for my actions!

It's not like I would have let you stop me. Besides, you did try! I nearly had to grovel for his real age! In the end I didn't even tell the network his real age. [Making him younger ended up being funnier to Tim.] So he had no reason to not trust you.

It's Jon. To him? Because you've played pranks in the past, and because we're so close, that means that we're clearly in cahoots.

[Sasha sighs, leaning her head back against the sofa.] He was seemingly contrite when I saw him at the party. He was also drunk, but I'll take it. I don't hate him, but it's upsetting that he'd think that of me.

Still not fair. [He argues with a pout. Still annoyed on her behalf.]

Do you know? He told me that he once thought I was trying to plan his murder? After I nearly died trying to help him escape the worms!

[She blinks at him, feeling a little dumbfounded.] He--seriously? What the hell, Tim?

I don't know! You'll have to ask him! Martin found Gertrude's body while me and Jon were being eaten alive by worms and somehow that means I was planning on killing him! [He throws his hands up in exasperation.]

[She shakes her head, looking a might horrified that Martin was the one to find Gertrude. It shouldn't have been Martin; shouldn't have been any of them. And no one found you, Sasha...]

What did you end up doing?

About Jon? Nothing. The last thing I remember from home was coming out of quarantine. I'd only been back to work for a couple weeks and I hadn't noticed anything was off yet. [He gives her a guilty sidelong glance. He hadn't even noticed that anything was off about her, let along Jon.]

[She lets that go, for if that's the last thing Tim remembers (even if it wasn't really her) before coming here? There's no reason to go on about it.]

Jon doesn't do well with suspicion or paranoia, as we can see. And that's how I got a citation. I'll go tomorrow. I don't want to, but.

But it will only get worse if you don't. [He frowns. So worried about what they'll do to her.] I'll go with you? As far as they'll let me accompany you.

I won't complain if you want to come with me. Just... [A worried expression darkens her features slightly.] I don't know what's going to happen, and I don't want you to react poorly if something bad comes out. Like... I dunno. Shock collars or mind fuckery, I guess. I don't want you to get into trouble, too.

Whatever happens? [He pauses to take her hand and bring them up to his mouth. Gently placing a kiss on each of her knuckles before he continues.] We'll get through it together.

[There's no real shock collars, per se, at Sasha's punishment. She's given a bracelet that does send shocks if she forgets to address a Dominant in proper fashion. Something to the effect of, I'm hungry and I would like to have dinner. If it pleases you, Sir. Or Madam, depending. Fail? There's a shock of a reminder to mind her manners from the bracelet. It's all about as exciting as sitting through a boring lecture, but Sasha recognizes that it could be so much worse. Only three days of irritating.]
