"That or maybe a never ending orgy. I'm not so sure I want to find out." Okay, maybe he does a little bit. "You know, after I lost Danny? I didn't think I would ever really be happy again." He smiles sincerely at Sasha. "What a fool I was, I just needed to find you first."
If it's possible for Sasha's face to look any more offended at 'never ending orgy', one would be hard pressed to find it. Sometimes--(no, most times) Tim's world of desires is so very different than hers, but that's okay. It has to be.
His sudden heartfelt shift gives Sasha pause. She takes a sip of her tea to help settle what he'd just said. Not that it's bad, not really. She just knows how much Danny meant to Tim. She blinks up at him, feeling some heat in her cheeks. "You've met a lot of people before I came here. Before I got to the Institute." Don't make it awkward, Sasha. "I'm not sure why it was me, but I'm glad. You drive me up the wall, but I am happy. You make me happy, even on bad days."
"I did. I met a lot of people." He sees no reason to deny it further. "But none of them compare even close to you. You don't drive me crazy the same way that I do to you, but I'm glad you can tolerate them. Because when I'm with you? It's like I have no bad days." What can he say? He's feeling incredibly sappy at the moment.

She lifts her mug of tea in a small toast. "To us? And all the good days we can fit together.
"Happy Christmas, Tim."
