Why daydream about things you never intend to accomplish or do? Why not spend your time dreaming about things you can plan to achieve in the future? Wouldn't that be a better use of that time?

Because it's all just for fun. To give your brain and mind a break from serious thinking all the time.

I have a fondness for thinking seriously about even the smallest of things. Thinking seriously does allow me to take some of the sillier things that have come into my mind and make them a reality.

Then I suppose if you really don't want to take my advice I'm not going to force you. But I would still suggest giving it a try and if you don't like it then you can stop.

All right. I'll try. I promise nothing of the results or sticking with it, but I will try for at least a few days before I give up.

I wouldn't want you to stick with it if you're not enjoying it or finding it helpful. You don't even have to tell me if you end up having fun or not.

I do appreciate you thinking of me in a unique sort of way. It's not often I'm surprised by the ways people put effort into helping me. [Even if this feels very misguided, in her opinion.]
