Yeah, I have no interest in living forever.

Even among the long-lived.
But I've always been a little different.
More selfish, perhaps.

I would think being immortal means you're more likely to do something stupid sooner or later.

But I do my best.
And it's gone well enough so far.

Also being here I can be as stupid as I like, I suppose.

Here? No. Why would I? I abhor violence unless it's absolutely necessary.

Of course, there's always the random city occurrence that makes us act entirely unlike ourselves. But I can't exactly account for that.

That is good to hear. I would hope you wouldn't hurt other people, but I've known plenty of foolish people who tend to act without thinking about how their actions may hurt those around them.

These days, I'd only hurt someone to protect myself or in defense of a friend. I haven't always been this way, but I do my level best to avoid conflict.

I suppose with an immortal life you'll have lots of chances to learn how to avoid conflict.
