There's no note--Tim might recognize Jon's particular brand of humor, such as it is--just a box with Tim's name.

Inside is a large kit and a book for learning practical magic. Does Tim already know how to pull a coin from someone's ear? Who knows? If not, will he turn this into an incredibly stupid come-on? Possibly. Jon just hopes he has some fun.]

No idea. Did Martin send me one? [But Martin would have left a card. Wouldn't he? The goth maybe? Why would he be sending Tim gifts?] There was one here when I got home and not many people know where I live yet.

I like that it wasn't a bomb or a box filled with bugs or a bunch of paperwork and tapes inside of it. The tricks listed in here don't seem to hard. I'll have to use you as a guinie pig once I think I've gotten the hang of some of them. [So that will be a yes. As he's already trying to practice between text messages.] Just you wait. I'm going to make you into a very rich man with all the coins I'm going to pull out of your ears.
