I didn't sign the first contract at all but no we are luckily not permanently contracted.

She knows there's little point in killing people at the very least. So far, I haven't heard of anyone who doesn't return and she seems not to want to invite the vengeance of the wrong person.

Alright. Just be careful. I know someone trapped in a permanent contract that they don't want to be in because of mind control. Don't let yourself get in over your head and the same thing happen to you.

A demon from my world to Elias. She may be an embodiment of evil but no one deserves to be trapped with Elias. [Was Agnes being the Desolation in human form suppose to be a secret? Tim has no idea.]

How is she different from Elias's brand of embodiment of evil? Is she more like Jon?

She feeds off pain I believe. Also I think she can sent things on fire by her sheer will.

And from what I understand Jon and Elias are basically the same thing. Elias just has a lot more practice and willingness to be a bastard than Jon.

Feeding off pain seems a popular food source for some. Does she at least have control over their pyro abilities?

Jon and Elias, the difference between someone who is went hunting for the power and the one who stumbled on it via sheer ignorance?

Do you think this woman leans more towards Jon or Elias in her approach to power?

As far as I've witnessed she does, but I also don't generally make it a point to hang out with her.

Change ignorance for blind stupidity and I think you'll be a little closer. [Yes, he knows that's basically the same thing, but one is more fun to say.]

And I'm not sure. She seems to hate Elias so I suppose she takes more after Jon, but I'm not about to trust her.

Can I ask what her actions are like on your world? You say she can set things on fire and that she's the embodiment of evil but you haven't mentioned anything she's actually done herself?

Considering that Jon is technically the same kind of avatar of fear but is so from ignorance, not a will for power I don't really want to prejudge her on that alone.

I haven't met her back at home, but I have been told she is the avatar for the Desolation. It's in the name; destruction, devastation, and pain. That is the sort of god she serves.

Although, [As much as he doesn't really want to admit to this part.] Jon did mention she was born into her role. She didn't exactly choose it either if it's to be believed.

Born with it? I've known a few people born to terrible legacies. Doesn't automatically make them bad.

It means that they get given the benefit of the doubt and the understanding that they have things they need to unlearn.

Giving something the benefit of the doubt is how you can wind up dead. Or worse. [Again, he avoids answering the direct question.]

Giving someone the benefit of the doubt is also a good start to getting people out of abusive and toxic situations.

Give them a safe place to not be what they've been taught to be. Prepare for the worst maybe but try and expect the best.

So no vibe of destruction then.

But basically yeah she was born into a bad situation, doesn't give off destruction vibes but has the potential to be very dangerous if threatened.
