That's sort of the point. You just turn your brain off and enjoy a bit of time to yourself to unwind. Or for something quick to do while stuck on the tube.

I find the daily crossword in the newspaper far less frustrating.
And turning my brain off around other people I don't trust sounds like a recipe for being pickpocketed.

I actually don't own too much. I've never been big on materialistic things so I think I'll be alright. Thank you for the offer. Most people try to get out of helping people move rather than offering to help.

What comes next doesn't matter. That ending has been spoiled for me and so I don't need to worry about what comes next.

It isn't.
If you need mace, I have plenty of it.
I would strongly encourage that over guns.
You don't have to aim nearly as much, you're not going to accidentally shoot someone, and it gets your point across in an excruciatingly painful way.

I have some already. It was surprisingly easy to get here.

And I'm taking lessons. I have more control now so I won't make that mistake again. [Hopefully.]

What exactly do you think might happen the next time you try to shoot someone?

I figure it's fifty-fifty either the same thing happens again or the new bullets I bought will kill them. Either way I got away last time after sex. I think I could do so again.

If you know that gun might force a certain effect and you shoot someone with it, would you consider yourself at all responsible for inducing that effect in another person?
Not to mention yourself.
I don't know, Tim.
Given the nature of that effect, it seems too risky.
It's one thing when you didn't know about it.
It seems like it might be another when you do.

He does, I told him only a little earlier this evening. He suggested I let you know, actually.

[ He also knows why Jon didn't tell Tim himself, but he's really not sure how much he should be involved or not in Tim's... situation. There's certainly a level of wanting to help, but this is the sort of thing that Jon and Tim definitely have to sort out for themselves. He's willing to be an ear, though. ]

You have a good point with that. I hadn't considered it in that way. I'll look into replacing it.
