"What flavor of jam would you like?" He asks with a waggle of an eyebrow. Unsure if she was making a sexual innuendo or not. As it was Sasha he was leaning on the side of caution and assuming she meant real jam, but he can't help but play around a little.
She snorts a laugh. Giving his arm a smack, Sasha takes her toast from his fingers. "I love you, but don't be gross." There's something decidedly different about cum on food versus swallowing. She'll not get into that now, thank you.
Taking a bite of her eggs, Sasha considers something. Nothing to do with what's been mentioned in the past ten seconds, mind, but it makes her look over Tim thoughtfully. "Are you happy? With me? Us?"
Laughing, he takes her smack with a grin. Moving back to his plate to take another mouthful of food. "I could not possibly be happier." He says before immediately coming back to give her a kiss. One that he will let linger a little before he pulls back. "Well, maybe if I had a winning lottery ticket I'd be a bit happier, but not by much."
Tim's given a sweet smile after that kiss, one that says she's incredibly happy. For all of its faults (and there are many, to be sure), Duplicity did manage to bring them back together. Maybe it's not the same as at home, and maybe it doesn't have to be, but Sasha's happy. For whatever reason, the universe saw it fit to bring them here.
Her lips purse briefly at the last bit of his answer. "Does Duplicity have a lottery?" She snorts and wrinkles her nose. "One lucky winner gets five million bottles of lube."
"That or maybe a never ending orgy. I'm not so sure I want to find out." Okay, maybe he does a little bit. "You know, after I lost Danny? I didn't think I would ever really be happy again." He smiles sincerely at Sasha. "What a fool I was, I just needed to find you first."
If it's possible for Sasha's face to look any more offended at 'never ending orgy', one would be hard pressed to find it. Sometimes--(no, most times) Tim's world of desires is so very different than hers, but that's okay. It has to be.
His sudden heartfelt shift gives Sasha pause. She takes a sip of her tea to help settle what he'd just said. Not that it's bad, not really. She just knows how much Danny meant to Tim. She blinks up at him, feeling some heat in her cheeks. "You've met a lot of people before I came here. Before I got to the Institute." Don't make it awkward, Sasha. "I'm not sure why it was me, but I'm glad. You drive me up the wall, but I am happy. You make me happy, even on bad days."
"I did. I met a lot of people." He sees no reason to deny it further. "But none of them compare even close to you. You don't drive me crazy the same way that I do to you, but I'm glad you can tolerate them. Because when I'm with you? It's like I have no bad days." What can he say? He's feeling incredibly sappy at the moment.

She lifts her mug of tea in a small toast. "To us? And all the good days we can fit together.
"Happy Christmas, Tim."
